Minor Distractions

The past three weeks or so have been some of the busiest I've ever experienced! This week, my mental confusion reached a remarkable high point when I missed a my flight home. Plain and simple thought it took off at a completely different time and turned up at the airport about an hour after it took off.

There is an efficiency craze that seems to be sweeping the blog world and who can really blame people? We are trying to do more all the time and our expectations for life are higher, too. Happiness is no longer something that happens, but something we can achieve, like running faster or spelling better. Is this kind of mentality really good for us? What does it say about the world today? When simplicity becomes a movement or a trend, aren't we actually making it complex?
